Michigan Court on Abortion Ban
A Michigan Court of Claims judge has temporarily stayed the enforcement of the 1931 law that bans abortion in nearly every instance in Michigan. If the U.S. Supreme Court overturns Roe v. Wade, the law would have taken effect. This is good news for the rights of Michiganders. It allows individuals to continue to make the reproductive health care choices that are right for them.
