“Our students and teachers have been through a lot these past few months, and the last thing they need to be worried about this fall is whether their schools will have the resources they need. I went into this year’s budget process with that goal in mind, and I am so pleased my colleagues in both chambers and on both sides of the aisle came together to put our children first. This money for Pontiac schools will go a long way toward letting our students and teachers focus on learning and mental wellness while we continue battling this pandemic.”
