LANSING, Mich., March 11, 2020 — State Rep. Brenda Carter (D-Pontiac) successfully secured $200,000 of additional Michigan enhancement grant funding within a supplemental state budget agreement to support the Talent Development Coalition in Oakland County.

“This grant funding will go a long way to help people in my community get the training they need for the careers they want. We have employers right here in our community that are ready and willing to hire — but our workforce needs additional training to be successful in these positions. Now those new opportunities will be available.”
