Carter Thanks Gov. Gretchen Witmer For Infrastructure Support

LANSING, Mich., May 11, 2022 — Today, during Economic Development Week, Gov. Gretchen Whitmer announced that a total of $3 million in infrastructure and public safety grants is being awarded to 11 municipalities. State Rep. Tyrone Carter expressed his gratitude for the governor’s support for the city of Ecorse in the following statement: 

“I want to thank the governor for this infrastructure grant. These funds will make the city of Ecorse a safer place with improved surveillance cameras and security doors and a renovated police center.”
