MT. MORRIS — State Rep. John Cherry (D-Flint) invites residents to join him at an upcoming town hall on Monday, Sept. 16, at Krapohl Senior Center, 5473 Bicentennial Drive in Mt. Morris from 10 a.m. to noon to discuss the issue of elder abuse and how it affects the state and local communities. Joining Cherry will be special guest Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel. An open ‘Question and Answer’ session will follow AG Nessel’s update, where members of the public will be invited to share their questions, comments and concerns. ASL interpreters will be on-site for this event. Residents requiring transportation to the event are encouraged to contact Rep. Cherry’s office at (517) 373-7515 to arrange accommodations. Wheelchair accessible transportation is available upon request.
