LANSING – State Representative Tom Cochran (D-Mason) today participated in the House swearing-in ceremony during the official opening of the 97th session of the Michigan House of Representatives in Lansing. Cochran will represent House District 67, which covers part of Ingham County, including the cities of Mason, Leslie, Williamston and part of Lansing.

“I am honored to represent the residents of House District 67, and now I can get down to the business of working on legislation that will help our middle-class families and workers, ensure that our students are offered a world-class education and end the pension tax so our seniors can enjoy their retirement,” said Cochran.

Cochran said he will always be available to residents by phone, at 517-373-0587 and by email at TomCochran@house.mi.gov.

“I look forward to working with my colleagues and meeting with the residents of House District 67 to hear their thoughts and ideas of how we can move Michigan forward,” Cochran said.

Joining Cochran at the swearing-in ceremony were his wife, Kathy Cochran, and Nancy Cochran-Small.
