Dear Friends,

Thank you for taking the time to read this e-newsletter. I want to invite you to
my upcoming town halls.

LGBTQ Legislative and Community Work Group

I am hosting an LGBTQ legislative community work group, on Monday, June 24, at 11 a.m at 51 W. Hancock St. in Detroit. This event is an inclusive meeting for residents and activists to make their voices heard and to strategize on how to end violence against transgender people. I hope you can come out and join us.

Potential Changes to Cosmetology and Barber Training

I am hosting a listening session on House Bill 4335, which would change the educational and licensing requirements for schools of cosmetology and barber colleges. I want to hear your thoughts, so please join me on Monday, June 24, at 7 p.m. at 51 W. Hancock St. in Detroit.

Both of these events are open and free to the public, and I hope you will be able to join me. If you can’t come, please reach out to me with your thoughts on this or any other concerns you have about our community. To RSVP or for more information, you can call (517) 373-1008 or email my office at IsaacRobinson@house.mi.gov.

In Solidarity,

State Representative Isaac Robinson
