“I was saddened to learn of the death of City Commissioner Kim Gibbs. Although Commissioner Gibbs and I rarely saw eye-to-eye, I know that she personally was a dedicated public servant committed to representing the people of our community. Being in the spotlight as an elected official is not an easy task, and I will always respect her courage to serve her community and stand up for her ideals. I send Commissioner Gibbs’ family my deepest condolences for their loss during these incredibly challenging times.”
