Gov. Whitmer announced $30 million in grant scholarships are available for law enforcement agencies. These funds will assist in the hiring, training and recruitment of police officers. The plan allows up to $20,000 per recruit for academy costs and up to $4,000 per recruit for salaries while attending an academy.
