LANSING — State Rep. Jim Haadsma (D-Battle Creek) was sworn in officially today as representative for the 62nd House District for the 2019-2020 legislative session. The swearing-in ceremony marked the formal opening of Michigan’s 100th Legislature. In response, Rep. Haadsma issued the following statement:

“Families from my community sent me to Lansing to fight for the issues that they care about most: supporting our schools, fixing our roads and ensuring equal rights and opportunities for all Michiganders. I am deeply honored by this opportunity and will be a tireless advocate of policies that put the people back at the center of our state’s work.”
