LANSING — State Rep. Jon Hoadley (D-Kalamazoo) was sworn in officially today as representative for the 60th House District for the 2019-2020 legislative session. The swearing-in ceremony marked the formal opening of Michigan’s 100th Legislature. In response, Rep. Hoadley issued the following statement:

“I’m honored to continue our work to fight for a Michigan that invests in people.  The families of Kalamazoo are ready for leaders in Lansing to follow through on policies that prioritize people over corporate profits. I am committed to working with my colleagues and the new administration to fully fund our public schools, provide improved access to health care and protect our environment. I am thankful my community has once again placed their trust in me to advocate for them at the Capitol and I am ready to get to work.”
