LANSING, Mich., March 10, 2025 — The Michigan Department of State will be hosting a “Road to Restoration” event in Lansing tomorrow to provide information to community members on how they can restore their driver’s license. Individuals will be able to meet with department staff and volunteer attorneys to review their driving record, ask questions and learn about how they may be able to restore their driver’s license.. State Rep. Kara Hope (D-Holt) issued the following statement in support of the event:

“A driver’s license can open the door to many opportunities and provide a sense of independence. That’s why I’m thrilled to see this event in our community, and I hope people will use it as a chance to move forward with their lives in a positive way. Second chances are an integral part of our justice system. Events like these help those eligible to continue on a renewed path.”
