It is well documented that private school students have the deck stacked in their favor already, allocating CARES Act dollars equally between public and private schools only serves to deepen the divide. We cannot play political games with our children’s futures. CARES Act funding is meant to support the students most affected by the COIVD-19 pandemic, not to expand the already clear disparities in learning between the rich and poor.”
