I want to invite you to upcoming events my office is hosting. Tomorrow, Oct. 19, I am hosting a community conversation where we can discuss the latest updates from Lansing and around the district. It will take place from 5:30-6:30 p.m. at Eastpointe Memorial Library (15875 Oak Ave. in Eastpointe), and pizza will be served. Also, I will host the next installment of my The Stigma series this Friday, Oct. 20, from 3-5 p.m. at Evangel Christian Churches (28491 Utica Road in Roseville). The event will include panelists from Live Rite Structure Recovery Corp. to discuss sobriety. Light snacks and beverages will be provided. More information can be found on the Facebook event page.
