DETROIT — State Rep. Jewell Jones (D-Inkster) is proud to have presented a tribute to Garden City resident Andrue Vader, who was named the 2016 Carpenter Apprentice of the Year by a statewide builders group. Jones gave Vader the tribute at the group’s annual meeting in February in Detroit.
“With up-and-coming tradesmen and women like Mr. Vader, the skilled trades have a bright future in Michigan,” Jones said. “I’m happy to bestow this tribute, which serves as a reminder of the importance of the skilled trades and the opportunities they provide for those seeking good-paying jobs.”
