Kivela represents the 109th House District, which comprisesAlger, Luce and Schoolcraft counties and most of Marquette County.
“I am thankful that I can continue representing the residents of House District 109, and I pledge to continue advocating for our children, families, senior citizens, businesses and communities in the Upper Peninsula,” said Kivela. “I was pleased that I was able to help out during the severe winter weather last year, to strengthen our drug laws to fight the production and distribution of methamphetamine and to pass legislation that promotes economic growth. I look forward to working hard with my Democratic and House colleagues to make Michigan work better for all of us.”
