LANSING, Mich., July 11, 2022 — Organizers for the Reproductive Freedom For All petition delivered signatures to the Bureau of Elections today. The petition would amend the Michigan Constitution to ensure that no one goes to prison for providing safe medical care as well as ensure access to a broad range of reproductive health care, including abortion. State Rep. Matt Koleszar (D-Plymouth) issued the following statement on the delivery of the signatures:

“Michiganders have spoken: They are demanding the right to make their own reproductive health care choices. This initiative, if approved by voters, would enshrine the right of bodily autonomy in the Michigan Constitution. Gathering more than 750,000 signatures is a Herculean effort, and I am grateful for the organizers and the people who signed this petition for getting RFFA on this November’s ballot.”
