LANSING — State Rep. Robert L. Kosowski (D-Westland) began his third and final term yesterday as representative for the 16th House District. Kosowski was sworn in by Michigan Supreme Court Justice Bridget Mary McCormack.

“It has truly been an honor to represent the residents of Wayne and Westland,” Kosowski said. “I am humbled that my constituents put their faith in me once again and allowed me to be their voice in Lansing for another term. Last session, I fought hard to bring funding back to my district, and I will continue to do so this term. While many of my legislative priorities were signed into law last session by the governor, I will continue to work in a bipartisan manner to ensure important legislation is enacted that will hopefully better the lives of all Michigan residents.”
