Zach Crim promoted to deputy communications director

LANSING — House Democratic Leader Donna Lasinski (D-Scio Twp.) made several staff announcements today, including the hiring of Andrea Brown-Harrison as press secretary.

Brown-Harrison previously served as a communications advisor for the Senate Democratic Caucus, as well as an associate producer of television news at ABC in Minneapolis, MN, television news writer at WXYZ-TV7 and other Detroit-area news outlets, and television news assignment editor at NBC in Toledo, OH. She also served as a Pittsfield Charter Township Trustee and Parks Commissioner.

Lasinski also promoted Zach Crim to deputy communications director.

Crim previously served as a communications advisor for the House Democratic Caucus, prior to which he was a legislative aide for state Sen. Glenn Anderson (D-Garden City) and the general manager of multiple Lansing-area restaurants. He has been heavily involved in charity work for the Flint community through the Crim Fitness Foundation.

“House Democrats are focused on making sure our state gets through the pandemic and our economy recovers,” Lasinski said. “Andrea and Zach will be instrumental in getting our message across to the people of Michigan.”
