LANSING —  Last night, Gov. Gretchen Whitmer delivered her first State of the State address, outlining her vision for the state and calling for bipartisan collaboration to address the issues facing Michigan’s working families. In response, state Rep. Donna Lasinski (D-Scio Township) issued the following statement:

“Providing access to clean water, strengthening our public schools and making health care affordable are essential steps to providing Michiganders the basic freedoms that should be guaranteed for all. As elected officials, it is up to us to be transparent and accountable to the people we serve and come together to make state government work better for everyone.”

Rep. Lasinski was joined by former House Democratic Leader Tim Greimel.
