LANSING, Mich., Sept. 28, 2021 – House Republicans announced the introduction of a new Unemployment Insurance Agency reform package today. In response, House Democratic Leader Donna Lasinski (D-Scio Township) issued the following statement:
“House Democrats have been fighting to improve our UIA system on behalf of Michigan workers for years – long before the pandemic made it a necessity. I’m glad our colleagues on the other side of the aisle have joined the conversation and are interested in exploring ways to provide real relief for Michigan families.
