“As business slowly start to reopen, it’s important that all of us, retailers and consumers alike, continue to exercise caution. So, as we continue to transition to our new normal, I implore retail and other establishments to help keep us safe by insisting on the mask-wearing practice. Wearing masks, staying home when we aren’t feeling well, and practicing social distancing isn’t just to protect ourselves; we do all these things to protect each other as well. Because that’s how we get through this – together. That’s why I introduced House Resolution 249. Even as we enjoy the outdoors and good weather, it is vital that we continue to do so safely and take precautions.”
