LANSING, Mich., Feb. 12, 2025 — House committee assignments for Michigan’s 103rd Legislature were announced. State Rep. Donavan McKinney (D-Detroit) was named a member of the Appropriations Committee, minority vice chair of the Licensing and Regulatory Affairs and Insurance and Financial Services Subcommittee and a ranking member of the Agriculture and Rural Development and Natural Resources subcommittee. After the announcement, McKinney issued the following statement:

I am honored to serve on the House Appropriations Committee, where I will work to ensure our state budget reflects the needs and priorities of the people.
