As a member of the House Appropriations Committee, it is my responsibility to help shape Michigan’s $54 billion budget each year. Next week, Gov. Rick Snyder will be presenting his plan for how our state will allocate funds for the 2017-18 fiscal year. I look forward to hearing his suggestions and using every piece of information available to make informed decisions on how best to invest in a Michigan we can all be proud of.
