DUNDEE, Mich., Oct. 16, 2024 — State Rep. Reggie Miller (D-Van Buren Township) joined local officials yesterday to celebrate the housing redevelopment of a long-vacant building in Dundee. This project will transform the property into 24 modern, high-quality apartments. The redevelopment project received $4 million in state funding to address the need for more affordable housing in the area. Following the event, Miller issued the following statement:
“This redevelopment is more than just a construction project — it’s about building a stronger community. For years, this building sat vacant, but today marks the beginning of a new chapter for Dundee. These new apartments will provide safe, affordable homes for the people who live and work here, ensuring that the community continues to grow and thrive. I’m glad that local community members and I got to see the real progress taking place that will have a positive impact on the people of our community.”
