LANSING, Mich., Sept. 25, 2024 — House Democrats passed a school aid supplemental funding bill today giving a total of $150 million in funding for public safety and mental health back to school districts, ensuring stronger schools and healthier students. Following the vote, state Rep. Jason Morgan (D-Ann Arbor) issued the following statement:

“This legislation is a critical step toward ensuring the well-being of our students. Every child deserves to thrive in a supportive school environment, and every parent should have the confidence that their children are cared for both emotionally and physically.
