FLINT — Today, state Rep. Sheldon Neeley (D-Flint) partnered with Prince of Peace Church to hand out 300 backpacks and school supplies to children at the Boys & Girls Club in Flint. In addition, Rep. Neeley issued the following statement:
“We have to do more than say that our children are the future, we must do everything in our power to ensure that they have the tools and resources they need for success. Today I spent some time with tomorrow’s leaders and tomorrow I will continue my work fighting to put our students first in the state’s budget.”
