LANSING, Mich., April 18, 2024 — The Michigan Strategic Fund approved a grant of over $9 million for new developments around Flint. The investment will allow for the acquisition of over 1,200 acres of land and the creation of an industrial megasite located in Mundy Township, near the airport. In response, state Rep. Cynthia Neeley (D-Flint) issued the following statement:
“This funding brings new job opportunities and investments to our communities. This will be one of the biggest megasites in the state. As more details are worked out, I look forward to seeing what manufacturing companies come our way, and the robust number of jobs created. This investment is a huge win, and our community is lucky to be chosen.”
