SAGINAW, Mich., June 4, 2020 — The Michigan Department of the Treasury and the State Land Bank Authority (SLBA) selected the city of Saginaw to be a recipient of funding from the 2021 Blight Elimination Grant. State Rep. Amos O’Neal (D-Saginaw), who represents Saginaw, issued the following statement:
“Addressing blight in our communities is an important and necessary endeavor to reinvigorate our communities. I am so glad that the SLBA decided to back the city of Saginaw’s application, and I am looking forward to seeing the positive impact this project will have on our community. ”
