The Michigan Office of Highway Safety Planning created a new resource to help parents discuss the importance of safe driving with their teens. The release of content was released during National Teen Driver Week, which ended Oct. 22. The statistics on teen drivers show an increased risk of crash due to inexperience. The parental toolkit presents a variety of different resources that include statistics and topics on weather, safety, preparedness and parent assistance. The 11-page resource can be found here.
