LANSING — State Rep. Ronnie Peterson (D-Ypsilanti) was sworn in officially today as representative for the 54th House District for the 2019-2020 legislative session. The swearing-in ceremony marked the formal opening of Michigan’s 100th Legislature. In response, Rep. Peterson issued the following statement:

“Throughout my time in the House, I have been committed to working with leaders from both parties to encourage economic development, create good-paying jobs, improve our public education system, and ensure families have the opportunities they need to succeed. I look forward to continuing this important work to support Washtenaw County residents and Michiganders alike as we make our state an even better place to live and work.”
