GRAND RAPIDS – State Representative Winnie Brinks (D-Grand Rapids) invites residents to join her at her upcoming coffee hours, including events with special guests from the Grand Rapids City Commission. Community coffee hours give constituents a chance to meet with Rep. Brinks in an informal setting to share thoughts, concerns or ideas. Coffee hours that feature special guests are unique because they bring state and local elected officials together to discuss what’s going on locally and at the Capitol. The upcoming coffee hours will take place:
- Friday, May 1, 8:30-10 a.m., at FAT BOY BURGERS: 2450 Plainfield Ave. NE, Grand Rapids
- Friday, May 8, 8:30-10 a.m., at THE OMELETTE SHOPPE: 1880 Breton Road SE, Grand Rapids, with special guest Grand Rapids City Commissioner SENITA LENEAR
- Friday, May 15, 8:30-10 a.m., at NEW BEGINNINGS RESTAURANT: 1601 Alpine Ave. NW, Grand Rapids
- Monday, May 18, 8:30-10 a.m., at THE OMELETTE SHOPPE: 1880 Breton Road SE, Grand Rapids, with special guest Grand Rapids City Commissioner ELIAS LUMPKINS JR.
