WHITMORE LAKE — State Representative Gretchen Driskell (D-Saline) was at Whitmore Lake Elementary School on Monday reading to third-graders in honor of March is Reading Month.
“Instilling a love of reading in children is very important, as I have done with my own children,” Driskell said. “Strong reading skills set up students for a lifetime of success in school and beyond.”
Driskell will be visiting other schools in her district to read to children throughout the month of March. She will release a list of her scheduled stops in the near future.
