WESTLAND — State Representative Robert L. Kosowski (D-Westland) was on hand last week at the Wayne Ford Civic League to distribute turkeys to local families in need. Westland Mayor William Wild and league President Vic Barra also took part in the event. More than 75 turkeys were given out or delivered.
“Although Michigan’s economy is slowly recovering, many families in the area still struggle to make ends meet. No matter what their circumstances, everyone should be able to enjoy a good holiday meal,” Kosowski said. “I’m proud to help local families in need and make the season a little brighter.”
