LANSING — State Rep. Padma Kuppa (D-Troy) is hosting a photo contest across the 41st House District, asking community members to submit photographs they’ve taken in and around the district. The winners will receive a special appreciation and see their photos displayed in Rep. Kuppa’s Lansing office.

“Our community is a really unique place, and that’s why I’m so honored to be representing the people of Troy and Clawson,” Kuppa said. “I want to add a touch of home to our office, and I want those who visit to be able to see that sense of community and togetherness, and this contest is an excellent way to help do that. I think it is important to display these photos so our guests and visitors are able to see our unique district.”

Prints must be 4” by 6”, and can be submitted by mail to state Rep. Padma Kuppa, HD-41, P.O. Box 30014, Lansing MI 48909-7514 or brought to one of Rep. Kuppa’s in-district hours. The photographer must be a resident of the 41st House District, and chosen artists will be invited to Lansing for the unveiling of the spread. The first unveiling will be held on March 20 at 10:30 a.m., and will feature the first 12 pictures received. If you have questions, call (517) 373-1873, or email the office.
