LANSING – State Representative Marcia Hovey-Wright (D-Muskegon) said she would continue her work to serve the people of Muskegon County and bring greater economic opportunity to the region as she was sworn into office at the state Capitol today.
“I’m ready to roll up my sleeves and get back to work in the Michigan House on behalf of everyone in the 92nd District,” Hovey-Wright said. “From fighting for better schools to working for tax relief for families, there is still a lot that needs to be done at the Capitol, and I will always make sure that the needs of local families come first in Lansing.”
Accompanying Hovey-Wright at her swearing-in were her husband, Bill Wright, and stepson, Steve Wright .
“I want the people of the 92nd District to know that I’m always accessible to them, whether by phone, email, a visit to my office in Lansing or at events I’ll be holding around Muskegon County,” Hovey-Wright said. “I urge people to contact me with their thoughts and ideas about how I can best serve our district.”
