Last month, I was honored to welcome U.S. Congresswoman Debbie Dingell (MI-12) to the district for a community forum about potential changes in health care and how Michigan residents could be impacted. At the meeting, I was also joined by special guests state Reps. Adam Zemke (D-Ann Arbor), Donna Lasinski (D-Scio Township) and Yousef Rabhi (D-Ann Arbor), along with other health care experts. The meeting attracted more than 400 Washtenaw County residents and shed light on a complex issue that affects us all.
Due to that success, I am pleased to announce that I will be welcoming Congresswoman Dingell back for a second health care forum, “What Do the Changes to the Affordable Care Act Mean to You?” with the Ministers Alliance of Ypsilanti, Ann Arbor and Vicinity. The meeting will be held on Wednesday, April 12, from 7-8:30 p.m. in the Ypsilanti High School Auditorium, 2095 Packard St. in Ypsilanti. All are welcome to join us for an important conversation about how potential changes to health care could affect you and your family.
