LANSING — State Rep. Terry Sabo (D-Muskegon) joined his House colleagues today to open the new legislative session at the ceremonial swearing-in held in the House Chamber at the state Capitol. Rep. Sabo was sworn in by state Supreme Court Justice Bridget Mary McCormack, and was joined by his wife Denise and his daughter Ryan Swanson.

“There are a lot of challenges facing our state right now, and I am ready to roll up my sleeves and get to work on them,” said Rep. Sabo. “The start of this new two year session brings the opportunity for fresh thinking, new perspectives and bipartisan cooperation. I hope not only to serve the people of House District 92 well, but to ensure that I am helping build a better, stronger Michigan for all.”

Rep. Sabo represents House District 92 which encompasses the cities of Muskegon, North Muskegon and Muskegon Heights, as well as Fruitland, Laketon, Whitehall and Muskegon townships. Rep.
