LANSING — State Rep. Tim Sneller (D-Burton) hosted Burton Chief of Police Thomas Osterholzer today during the state House of Representatives’ annual Sept. 11 ceremony. The ceremony is held in remembrance of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks and honors the sacrifices of both current service members and first responders from Michigan, as well as those who died in the line of duty over the previous year.

“The Sept. 11 ceremony is always a humbling reminder of the sacrifices that our servicemen and women make every day to make our communities, our state and our country a better place,” Rep. Sneller said. “I was honored to have Chief Osterholzer joining me on the floor today as my guest, and am thankful for his service to our community. We can never forget to recognize and remember those who risk everything to keep us safe here at home.”
