LANSING – State Representative Henry Yanez took the oath of office on Monday, Dec. 15 for the Michigan legislative session that begins on Jan.1. Yanez will be serving his second term representing House District 25.
”I am honored and humbled that the families and seniors of House District 25 have placed their confidence in me to do what is right by them and have sent me back to Lansing for a second term,” said Yanez. “I vow to continue my efforts to properly fund our schools, bring tax relief to families and seniors, support local governments so they can continue to offer services like police and fire protection, and work with local businesses to help them thrive and grow.”
The Honorable Douglas Shepherd administered the oath of office to Yanez on Monday at a ceremony held at the 41A District Court.
