WAYNE — State Representative Robert L. Kosowski(D-Westland) recently spoke at Wayne Ripple Effect’s event to mark the launch of the Michigan Main Street program in Wayne.
“I’m very proud of the work that The Ripple Effect has done in making Wayne a better place to live, work and play,” Kosowski said. “I look forward to seeing what they can accomplish with the tools that Michigan Main Street provides at their disposal.”
According to its Facebook page, “The Ripple Effect is a citizens’ action group dedicated to creating a more vibrant, inviting and visually appealing downtown Wayne where residents enjoy spending their leisure time and businesses prosper.”
The Michigan Main Street program works with community groups, businesses and local governments to revitalize downtown areas around the state.
