LANSING, Mich., Jan. 17, 2023 — Speaker Joe Tate (D-Detroit) announced last week the members of the Michigan House of Representatives’ standing committees, subcommittees and appropriations subcommittees. State Rep. Nate Shannon (D-Sterling Heights) was appointed the chair of the Transportation, Mobility, and Infrastructure committee.
“With this announcement, I am humbled to take on my new role as committee chair,” Shannon said. “With Michigan’s historic role in transportation, it is only right that we continue to focus on mobility and innovation in our state’s infrastructure — this keeps our communities active, safe and growing. In my position, I will work day in and day out to support a better Michigan — better roads, better mobility, brighter future.”
