LANSING — State Rep. Tim Sneller (D-Burton) announced today his appointment to three key House committees for the 2017-18 legislative session. He will serve as a member of the House Committees on Transportation and Infrastructure, Agriculture and Financial Liability Reform.
“I am thrilled to be appointed to serve on three of the most critical committees for Michigan’s economy,” said Sneller. “It is no secret that Michigan’s roads and infrastructure are in dire need of attention, and I look forward to impacting positive changes through this committee. I am also pleased to be on the committee for one of Michigan’s most important industries, agriculture, and to effect meaningful policies for our state’s financial future.”
Rep. Sneller also announced he will be holding various coffee hours within the district throughout the year to provide residents an opportunity to have an informal discussion with him about state government. Starting in February, regularly scheduled coffee hours will take place on:
- First Friday of the month, from 8 to 9:30 a.m.

- Second Monday of the month, from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

- Third Friday of the Month, from 8 to 9:30 a.m.

“I am eager to begin meeting with my community more regularly so that I can ensure I am representing their interests the best I can,” Sneller said. “My community relies on me to be their voice in Lansing, and it’s imperative to me that they feel their ideas and concerns are being heard.”
