CLINTON TOWNSHIP, Mich., March. 22, 2021 — Clinton Township Police Chief Fred Posavetz passed away from complications arising from COVID-19 earlier today. In response, Rep. Bill Sowerby (D-Clinton Twp.) issued the following statement:
“This is a tremendous loss for the Clinton Township community. I’m honored to have worked closely with Chief Posavetz when I was Clinton Township Treasurer. He led the police department with professionalism and skill, and through his work was always able to show his kind and compassionate heart. My condolences go out to his many friends and family.”
