“Gov. Whitmer’s address tonight confirmed that she has a deep understanding of the key issues facing residents of this state, including the high cost of prescription drugs. This is a problem that impacts nearly every household in Michigan, and I’m grateful she recognizes the work my colleagues and I are doing in the Legislature to lower costs and bring accountability to the healthcare system. It’s time our package of bills gets a committee hearing and a vote in the House in order to bring real relief to people across the state.”
