“Never in my lifetime have I seen a piece of legislation that would hurt so many people. Health insurance premiums will skyrocket, and hundreds of thousands of Michiganders will lose their health coverage altogether. Seniors and those with pre-existing conditions will be especially hard-hit. Now that we know the full extent of the damage, it is imperative that the Michigan Legislature pass the House Democrats’ Health Care Bill of Rights to ensure that people in Michigan are protected from Washington’s attempt to inflict deep cuts and rising costs upon us.”
