“Not only is this the comprehensive road repair plan that House Democrats and people around the state have been demanding, but it will also provide tax relief to Michigan families and take a great step forward toward restoring funding to our schools. Asking voters to approve a tax increase isn’t a step we take lightly, but taxpayers will get better roads and better schools in exchange, and provide income tax relief to offset the cost to working families.
