“I am pleased to see the Supreme Court strike down key provisions of a Texas law that placed substantial burdens on women seeking the full range of health care options in their state. Women deserve to be able to make personal health care decisions, in consultation with their doctors and their families, free from outside influence. I will always stand on the side of women having full control of their bodies, and I hope that this ruling means we can stop legislating this issue and get back to improving life for Michigan’s middle-class families.”
