“As I think back on the 95 years since women gained the right to vote, I am moved by the immense progress that has been made toward ensuring that women enjoy the same opportunities and rights as men. However, when I consider the struggle that still continues for equal pay and affordable access to women’s health care, I recognize that full equality for women is a goal that has not yet been achieved. I am determined to keep working to bring equality to women so that everyone will have the opportunity to reach their full potential.”
