“I am pleased to announce that the Genesee County Community Action Resource Department will distribute 1800 water filters to the Flint Housing Authority for installation in residences. This has been a cooperative effort of state, local and community partners and I am happy to have helped facilitate bringing these partners together on this project. Flint residents deserve clean, safe and drinkable water. This isn’t a solution to the water crisis affecting Flint, but it is a step in the right direction. Rest assured that I will keep working to help resolve this crisis as quickly as possible.”
